Hope In President Obama Fading Away

Hope in President Obama is fading away just like any hopes of Health-care Reform. Many Democrats hope for a leader who can step up to the plate and deliver the clutch hit everyone was waiting for. Democrats around the nation stood up and did everything they could to get the Barack Obama elected. Many Americans pledge as much money they could during hard economic times. They volunteer their time going door to door getting as many people to vote as they can. Many of these volunteers spent countless hours working for his campaign hoping to get someone who will bring change to Washington D.C. All the hard work these Americans has put in may go unrewarded.

President Obama step into the White House with a majority in the Congress and Senate. He has fail to show that he has the backbone to get things done in the White House. He claim he would prosecute anybody who had broke the law during the Bush Administration. President Obama hasn’t even try to fulfill this promise and he seems to want to push it under the rug. He has continue to push Gay Rights and Don’t Ask Don’t Tell to the back of his to-do list. He has fail to get anything done on Health-Care Reform. Democrats gave President Obama every opportunity to succeed.

He has not taken advantage of the majority in Congress and Senate. He should push the Congress and Senate to get rid of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. I find that Don’t Ask Don’t Tell is unfair to the Gay Community, because it single out a group of Americans because of their sexual orientation. He has spoke about Gay Rights only when it to his interest by trying to get people to continue to vote for him next election. He hasn’t come out and spoken straight to the Congress or Senate about his concern. He also has not spoke up against people who opposes Gay Marriage. To me banning a group of people from getting marry because of their sexual orientation should be unconstitutional.

Health-Care Reform continue to be the big subject Washington D.C. these days. President Obama went straight to Health-Care Reform when he got in Office. First thing he did was take Single-Payer off the table and push for a Public Option. Quickly Democrats went in and try to get it done, but then there was a delay and Congress and Senate went on vacation. August was the month when everybody had Town Halls about Health-Care Reform. President Obama was no where to be seen during the month when everyone attack Reform. He later held a joint-session in Congress where he spoke to Representatives about how important it was to get it done.

After the Speech their hasn’t been much that the President has done except asking for Bipartisanship. The Public Option can only pass if President Obama step up to the plate and swing for the fences. He have to back up his Democrats in the Congress and Senate. President Obama needs to stop saying that the most important thing on Health-Care Reform is Bipartisanship and the Public Option is not the biggest part of Reform. The Public Option to most Democrats is the most vital part of Reform, and without it Reform is just another way Health Insurance Companies continue to take our money and run.

Also I believe that the Health Insurance Mandate should be taken off, because it will penalized the working class. Those who are unemployed and doesn’t qualified for Government Health-Care such as Medicaid will be penalized for not purchasing Health Insurance. Without a Public Option Health-Care Reform is another way for Insurance Companies to rob hard-working Americans. They need to take out the Health Insurance Mandate so that it won’t put more of a burden on the Middle Class.

President Obama needs to show that he has the courage to fight the Health Insurance Companies. His Presidency gave Democrats such an emotional lift that got people excited about Politics. It made people realize that they have a voice and can influence what happens. President Obama needs to listen to those voices, because those voices are the one who determine whether he is President in 2012. President Obama needs to realize that everyone is watching and they will judge him on Health-Care, so he needs to do whatever he can to get it done.

Barack Obama Excludes The Gay Community

President Obama has shown that he doesn’t have the leadership everybody thought he had. Many Americans thought President Obama was a man who will do whatever is best for the country. He has shown he care for the upper class by giving the big bailouts to the banks. He also help middle and lower class by passing a stimulus bill that suppose to bring new jobs. President Obama only forgot one group of people which it seems like he excluded them on purpose.

He forgot the gay community which he says that he will fight for them to have equal rights. Its been a couple months since he took office and it seems like he never brought equal rights of the gay community up once. President Obama never fulfilled the promise he made to stop Don’t Ask Don’t Tell which prohibits Gay Americans to serve openly in the Army. He talk about gay marriages during his campaign, but flaked on it as President.

Don’t Ask Don’t Tell should be removed because it don’t let Americans who are gay served in the military. Many military officials says that it will destroy morale, but others object to that logic. Gay Americans who are serving right now are not able to openly serve and be themselves which can deflate morale. What is the purpose in not letting the best men and women serve for our country? Our Sexual Orientation shouldn’t mean we’re less of an American and deserve to be treated like a non-vital part of society.

The gay community has suffer a great injustice by not being allowed to get married in certain states. Why are so many people close-minded about the gay community? They are regular folks who happens to love the same sex. You can disapprove of what they are doing, but you shouldn’t deny them the right of marriage. Gay Americans have been discriminated against and not many politicians are speaking up about the injustice they have gone through. Many Americans disapprove because they say the bible disapprove, but aren’t we suppose to keep church and state separate.

The government has gone to far they had no right to declare gay marriages illegal. Gay Americans should have all the same rights that every other American have. People who opposes gay marriage have shown that they are discriminating against a community of people just because of their sexual preferences. We should have learned from our Country illustrious past that everyone is equal. If President Obama support the gay community he should speak up on gay marriages and Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.

Broken Promises

President Obama during his few months has continue to break promises. It has been very irritating to the Democrats who voted him into office. During his campaign he touch on a lot of issues that many Democrats believe in. President Obama said that Removing Don’t Ask Don’t Tell was on his agenda, but we haven’t heard a lot about it. Health-Care Reform was a very important issue and it seems like President Obama has fail by taking the wrong approach by standing in the corner. He continue to let the Republicans hash out his agenda for him and seems like he side with many of these Republicans. He need to take a stand on Afghanistan whether to fight the war or pull out.

Our country has many problems and the only way to fix them is to work together to find the best solution. One big problem is that we continue to treat the Gay Community as they are a lesser part of society. We are all equal and that the Gay Community need to have all the rights regular Americans have. They are not allowed to join the Army, and in certain states they can’t get married. Not allowing the Gay Community to get marry is taking away their civil rights. They are not able to adopt and pass their health benefits to their partner, because of Americans ignorance.

When Americans elected President Obama we expected Change and not Broken Promises. We continue to receive the go-around and not the answers. President Obama and Democrats in the Senate and Congress continue to listen to Republicans rather than advice from Americans who put them in power. Democrats continue to speak out on Health-Care we want a Public Option. Every American know that without competition our Health-Care will become more expensive and continue to do a bad job at taking care of Americans. Lets hope Democrats stand up and fight for Health-Care Reform like how Howard Dean and Rep. Anthony Weiner been doing. President Obama we all know your plate is full, but fulfill those promises you made to the American People.

Rep. Anthony Weiner Faces Off With Betsy McCaughey

Rep. Anthony Weiner goes on the Morning Meeting and debate Health-Care Reform with Betsy McCaughey. Anthony Weiner show that those Republicans who continue to attack Reform has no solution to fix the problem. Betsy McCaughey solution to Health-Care Reform is make less people receive Medicare by pushing the Age Requirements highers so that it can cut spending. Dylan Ratigan was the moderator he ask Betsy McCaughey direct question, which she answer with hesitation and ignorance. This debate should prove to Americans that our country has reach a low that Republicans want to destroy the President Credibility at any cost. They want Reform to fail so that President Obama will fail, even if it is harmful to our country.

Game, Set, Match…

The Insurance Companies is winning the debate on Health-Care Reform. Every time Democrats strike back on Health-care, the Insurance Companies seem to have the upper hand. They will continue to win if we don’t fight back. Insurance Companies may have more money than us, but if we join together and force our Representatives to do the right thing we may be able to come back. Our voices are stronger than most think we just need to speak up.

Americans can’t trust the Insurance Companies to reform themselves. They have continue to raise our premiums and provide us as little treatment as they can. They have taken as much of our money as they can and has continue to give us minimal treatment. We as a Country need to move away from if we approve or disapprove of the President. Americans need to push their party to the side and fight together for what is best for our Country. Without Reform we are going to fall back into the same cycle and it will continue to repeat until we stop it.

Everybody agrees that their has to be Health-Care Reform, but many have problem with many of these provisions they want in the Health-Care Bill. I personally have a problem with the Insurance Mandate even though I’m a Democrat. The plan is to give subsidy to Americans so they can afford Insurance, and those who have no Insurance will be penalized. This will penalized the hardworking Americans by putting more problems on their table and taking less off. The subsidy is the Government stuffing the Insurance Company’s pocket with taxpayer’s money.

Only way a Health-Care mandate will work is if we have a single payer system. Single Payer is never going to happen so the Democrats shouldn’t push the mandate, because the Middle Class will be penalized. It is hard enough for Middle Class to keep food on their table without the Government piling up more problems for them. Health-Care Reform shouldn’t be about these fake amendments in the Bill like Death Panels and Ration Treatment. It should be about the Americans who has lost their life, because their Insurance wouldn’t pay for their treatment or drop their coverage. Americans are the Underdog, but if we persevere we can come out as victors on the Health-Care Debate.

Mark Williams Talk To The Right-Wing Extreme

Mark Williams is talking to the right-wing extreme who has continue to voice their hatred towards the President Of The United States. Republicans continue to vilify President Obama as a socialist and wants to takeover our Country. The Republican Party has continue to wage their assault against Health-Care Reform. The Republicans has continue to voice their opinion, but when the Media talks about them they try to make themselves out as the victim.

The Public Has No Options

Insurance Gold Rush

Insurance Gold Rush

The public has no options and I’m not speaking about the Public Option. I’m a big supporter of Health-Care Reform and a Public Option, but the Baucus Bill is not what Democrats are looking for. The Health-Care Bill that Senator Baucus passed out of the Finance Committee will not give the public any options on Health-Care. It will take all their options away by forcing Americans to get some kind of Insurance coverage. I see what Senator Baucus and Senator Conrad saying that everyone should have Insurance coverage because they don’t want to be penalize for does who are not insured. The Baucus Bill will penalize does who can’t afford to make monthly payments and receive Health Insurance coverage.

Penalizing those who barely can afford to keep food on their table is reprehensible. Penalizing Americans who are struggling from the crippling economy is just not right. It will cause many families to decide whether to get Health-Insurance or to put food on the table. This is not a way to get Americans to agree to a Health-Care Bill. I don’t want to see the Democrats squander another chance at getting this done. Many families are continuing to struggle and having a hard time holding on to what they have left after the Economic Crisis.

The Penalty will affect the middle class who are struggling and can’t afford to get Health-Coverage. Do the Senators believe in a couple years when the Bill come into effect everyone will come into prosperity. Many of Americans who live day by day, and doesn’t have the requirements for a government program like Medicaid will be penalize because they will not be able to afford to be insured. College Students will go into bigger debt because they also will have to pay for coverage or face a penalty. Americans will go Bankrupt because they are force to be Insured or receive a penalty. The Insurance Companies will continue to line their pockets with American’s money.

The most important part of Health-Care Reform is to satisfy Americans and not the big Insurance Companies. I hope that our Representatives will realize that the public needs option. They need to pass a Health-Care Bill that will help Americans rather than Bankrupt them. Insurance Companies have stumbled on gold because the bill will make it mandatory to have insurance. Health-Care Reform shouldn’t create the Insurance Gold Rush and bring prosperity to Insurance Companies. It should bring prosperity to Americans who has continue to suffer from the big Insurance Companies. They have continue to rob American’s of their hard-earn money and left them high and dry when they needed the Insurance Companies the most.
